How you doin?
I've bin in Korea for a month, and it's bin fun~
Thought I might share my thoughts and this 'n that.
Being in the motherland, I embraced the tradition...

A rip off sashimi place in ¸íµ¿
What did I do? What are Koreans reknown for? Drinking ¼ÒÁÖ and karaoke... the ³ë·¡¹æ's here are sooo much better - the English song library is much more extensive, but we didn't go that often... didn't get piiissed that much either~
Armed with an aK84, a tiger and a Farmer, we took on Korea~
We met up with a few of aK's mates here, doin the Korean thing. Hit up a few clubs - they're so packed you can barely move. HA! One night, Rangisan was SOOO pissed off at himself for not havin the balls to dance with chix, he was kicking over signs on the street! You had to have seen it!

First train - most from clubs - K.O
The trains get so packed, it's a rugby union game to get on. One time, the train doors were closing on these guys getting on, another guy from the platform had to full push him in.
So many people sleep on the train, it's automatic. They hop on, drop their heads if they get a seat and somehow manage to get off at their stop. They announce this full essay to beware of the gap in Korean, but in English it's "Please, watch your step". It's good how they mention every approaching station, unlike Sydney. For those who've caught the subway, dontcha think the departing noise sounds like the start of Numb/Encore by Linkin Park?
There are so many beggars on the trains - most are "blind", but it's amazing how work their way thru; they know exactly where everyone is and where the connecting doors are, and that sad music they play - GOSH! It has the opposite effect on me. There are these guys that play the music and crawl their way thru the streets on these wheeled boards. They're missing legs, feet, this and that - my heart wrenched everytime i saw one of those...
Went snow boarding for the first time - my ass is SOOO sore! Now I know how punishment was like for those guys in the Korean old school days, when they got smacked with a hugeass oar. Never knew that having fun could come at such a big cost~ The views were breath taking too... Korea is really the land of mountains.
I went down to DaeGu and Pusan on the KTX (speed trains that go 300km) to meet family. Looking out, i was amazed at how dull the land is... i guess it's winter, but it looks so dead - no green, all brown. DaeGu reminded me of Sydney; city, but not that busy. Pusan's alot like Seoul; tall buildings, people rushing about, alot of street stalls. The Pusan dialect is so hard to understand that it's like another language. Y'all gotta try »ê³«Áö (live octopus) - it's all cut up but it's still squirming, and the legs stick to your tongue... kinda gross ay?

Welcome to Walker Hill Casino. Gambling's illegal for Koreans, so you gotta be a foreigner to enter. The girl in white is Anna, one of aK's uni mates, and the other girl's her sister Tina, from Canada. Couldn't believe me eyes when i walked in... twas like a movie! The serving girls wear this revealing black and red uniform, and heaps of em have lacy stockings! We kept ordering the free drinks n food - I wonder why? I walked away up about $300... sweet~
Farmz dreaded the end of his holiday and he wants to come back so hard... personally, it's fun playin with me mates without work, but it's THAT great. My trip was abit sullied coz aK's busy workin and Rangi didn't wanna go home too late. Rangi had a few family commitments as did I... twas good catchin up with em and sharin watz bin doin...
We were out with the Canadian girls, and I told one of em that Canberra was the capital. Two minutes later, I asked her what it was, and she said Sydney! Then aK asked us what the capital of Canada was... knowing it was Ottowa, i kept quiet.

Dialogue of actual event below
Farmer: 'Vancouver!'
Rangi: 'er, It's Toronto!'
?aK, me: 'It starts with O'
Farmer: 'Orlando!'
?me, aK: 'Second letter T'
Farmer: 'Ah! OTLANTO!'
We couldn't stop knocking farmz about it - he seriously thought it was Otlanto! He was also worried that he was going bald, so he stopped wearing his hat.
The people here taller than I expected, especially the girlz. Last time I was here 3 years ago, everyone was wearin the same shit - coat and jeans... tis different now. Can't believe how many skirts there are about! It's freezing and yet they have to show skin~ I'd understand if they had nice legs... but
.
I gotta say, koreanz are so bloody rude! They push and shove unnecessarily, spit without caring where it lands, very UNhelpful when you ask a question - the list goes on... BUT when you enter and leave a place, they greet you like their job depends on how well they Àλç.

This foto cost us $1.35
She was tryin to sell us a balloon animal, but we really didn't have any use for it.
